This contract is between Golden Retriever Den (“the breeder”) and you (“the buyer”). It covers the purchase of one Golden Retriever puppy.
To reserve a specific puppy, the buyer pays a reservation deposit equal to 50% of the listed price. This deposit secures that puppy and is credited toward the total purchase price. It is fully refundable if the buyer changes their mind at any point before pickup or shipping.
The remaining balance is paid in person at pickup, or before travel begins if the puppy is being shipped. Pickup is by reservation only at our home in Memphis, Tennessee.
No puppy will be released before eight weeks of age, for the puppy’s health and behavioral development.
Every puppy goes home vet-checked, with age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming on the appropriate schedule, and a microchip. The breeder provides a written health guarantee, including a 1-year guarantee against serious hereditary conditions.
The buyer agrees to provide ongoing veterinary care, appropriate housing and exercise, basic training, and a loving home. The buyer agrees not to resell the puppy or place it in a shelter.
Life happens. If the buyer is ever unable to keep the puppy, they agree to contact the breeder first — we will take the puppy back at any age and find a new family ourselves.
If shipping is used, the puppy will travel in-cabin with a flight nanny. Transport costs are quoted separately and paid in full before travel begins.
This contract becomes binding when both parties have signed below.
